Trip Itinerary

Our tour begins when we pick you up from your hotel at 8 am, then go in our private transport to the town of Limatambo, by a very well paved track for approximately 2 hours, in the course of the trip will make visits to the archaeological sites of KILARUMIYOC (Temple of the Moon and fertility), TARAWASI (Tambo Inca) at all times receive the talk of our professional guide where we also learn a little more about the Inca culture and activities of local people.

Our journey will continue until we reach the (Huayronca Bridge) from where we will go by an unpaved road to the community of Chonta, the road will be an ascent to 3400 meters above sea level. We will make some stops in some interesting places to take pictures of the Salkantay snowy and with the Limatambo valley, at noon we will arrive to the town of Chonta where we will enjoy lunch, observing the Salkantay snowy.

After arriving at the starting point, we will leave the vehicles and begin the walk for about 1 hour and a half by a wide road to the viewpoint of the canyon of the condor 3350 masl, from this point we will have the opportunity to observe the impressive Andean condor in full flight in its natural habitat, From the viewpoint we wait for the condors to arrive after their daily activities, we will not have to wait for long as the condors return in the afternoon between

3:00 pm. In this place we will have a very good opportunity to see them and photograph them from a very near place and for an average of 2 hours or more flying in front of you, sometimes you can see the condor flying less than 20 meters from you.

After having this great opportunity to see the Condor, we will return to the town of Chonta by the same road where we went, to take our private transport to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at 8 pm.
