Trip Itinerary

Day 01

Cusco - Tinki - Pumaccocha

Our guide will visit you in your hotel to take you to the place where your tour starts, between 08:00 hrs and 08:30 hrs. We will make a 30-minute trip to Pisac located east of the city of Cusco. In Pisac we will visit the ruins located in the upper part of the city, as well as the handicraft market located around the Plaza de Armas.

In Pisac we will be able to appreciate how the settlers use the Incan agrarian techniques to solve the problem of sowing on the slopes of the hills and thus achieve the best productivity.

Visitors will be impressed by the urban distribution of a building made of large stone blocks polished in symmetry, also visit the current colourful craft market in which we can find a variety of handicrafts for sale.

At noon we will have a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in the town of Urubamba. After lunch we will go to Ollantaytambo: located 76 km from the city of Cusco, built on an area of approximately 600 hectares, is established in the middle of three valleys that gives way to the jungle brow where Machupicchu is located following the course of the river, has strategic control places established in the rugged geographical relief turning the archaeological site into a fortress. It contains archaeological evidence showing astronomical, administrative, urban, livestock and agricultural purposes.

In addition, the city of Ollantaytambo is considered a city suspended in time by the colonial Inca urban adjustment with great use of the hydraulic engineering distributing the water by means of channels that cross its streets maintaining its original landscape.
