SILLUSTANI: This tourist site is located 34 km from the city of Puno, about 40 minutes from the city of Puno. Here we can find the different Chullpas de Sillustani or Funerary Towers that measure up to 12 meters high and that were built by pre-Inca and Inca cultures. They were built on a small peninsula surrounded by the Umayo lagoon from where we can appreciate all its natural beauty as well as the architecture and engineering of the time.
LAMPA: It is located 73 km from the city of Puno, is also known as the pink city, famous for its temple “Santiago Apostle” here we can find a replica of the stone of the Piety of Michelangelo. In this town we also find the only and most beautiful colonial bridge of Calicanto.
PUCARA: It is located 61 km from the city of Juliaca on the road that takes us to the city of Cusco, this pre-Columbian culture is from 500 BC to 400 AD.
It is also known as the MOTHER CULTURE OF THE ALTIPLE, this same culture gave origin to later cultures like the Tiahuanaco (current Bolivia) and Inca (Cusco). Having the puma as totemic animal and the sculpture of the DECAPITATOR as characteristics of this culture.

Our journey begins at 07:30 am. Approximately when we pick you up from your hotel to go in our private transport to SILLUSTANI, located 34 km from the city of Puno. It is one of the largest and most impressive Necropolis in Latin America and the World. The recognized chullpas (funerary buildings), are gigantic funerary monuments built in different times and cultures. Then we will go in our transport to the Pink City of LAMPA, this is one of the most beautiful places of Andean south of Peru; among many attractions that are in this city we are going to see the one that more emphasizes its Church of Santiago Apostle and its Catacombs, constructed entirely in stone between 1675 and 1685.
In this temple we can find a beautiful replica of Michelangelo’s Pietà. There is also his mausoleum, decorated with a thousand skulls and 37 skeletons.
In this town we will visit the beautiful town of Calicanto. After a tour we will continue with our trips to PUKARA which is 101 km away. North of the city of Puno. In this town very well known for its craftsmanship and pottery have achieved great renown especially for their “Toritos de Pucará” which represents the protection. The bulls bear the name of Pucara because they were sold in the railway station of this town, where they became famous.
Very close to here we will be able to visit the temple of Kalasaya, here offerings to the Pachama were made, in addition to it we will find the Lithic Museum of Pucará where we will be able to find a variety of monoliths, stelae and sculptures that represent animals. At the end of this tour we will be able to enjoy the typical lunch of the zone in a traditional restaurant and then to go in our provided transport to the city of Puno to the 5:30 on the afternoon approximately.
