The tour to the city of Arequipa and the visit to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, will show us the spectacular architectural beauty of the White City of Arequipa. In our tour we will do tours for the tourist sites as: The viewpoint of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, the façade of the Cathedral of Arequipa, the cloisters and church of the Society of Jesus, the dome of San Ignacio, the complex of San Francisco and to finish the Monastery of Santa Catalina.
To begin the tour we will pick you up in our private transportation from your hotel by one of the most attractive viewpoints in Arequipa, called “Carmen Alto” from here we will observe the three tutelary volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa and appreciate pre-Inca terraces that are still cultivated by the farmers of Arequipa.
Then we will make a visit to the district of Yanahuara then make a visit to the Church of St. John the Baptist which has and the Yanahuara Portals which are a set of beautiful ashlar arches built during the nineteenth century.
Then we will visit the Main Square of Arequipa, to appreciate the Minor Basilica of Arequipa, built in a Neoclassical style; then we will go to the Church of the Company of Jesus and the Dome of San Ignacio which is one of the best preserved in the city of Arequipa.
