The Colca Canyon. – Located in the northeast of the Arequipa region at 3,600 meters above sea level, very close to the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes, it is considered one of the deepest in the world, reaching a depth of 4,160 meters. Where there is also Andean vegetation privileged by its climate, this impressive valley belongs to the province of Caylloma.
In the Colca Canyon is located the Cross of the Condor Viewpoint, where visitors can be impressed with the flight of the endangered Condors that live in the canyon.

Trip Itinerary
Pick up, Colca Canyon, Cruz del Condor, San Juan de Chuccho
Our trip begins when we pick you up from your hotel at 03:00 a.m. in our private transportation, then arrive at the Colca Canyon, after 3 hours of travel we will arrive at the town of Chivay, where we will enjoy breakfast.
Then we will continue our trip towards the Cross of the Condor, in this place we will enjoy for a time of 1 hour the impressionate flight of the Condors, to arrive then to the town of Cabanaconde located to 3287 m.a.s.l. from here we will make a walk by the canyon passing by Pampa San Miguel, place where we will be able to appreciate part of the route that we will realize.
From here we will make a downhill towards the town of San Juan de Chuccho where we will enjoy lunch, then make a hike for 4 hours to the Colca River, where we will cross an impressive hanging bridge, in the afternoon we will have the afternoon free and at night we will have dinner and then spend the night in the place.
Sangalle Oasis
After having breakfast at the indicated time, we will continue our tour through the Colca Canyon, visiting the traditional villages of Cosñirhua and Malata, after visiting these mysterious villages perched on the mountain, we will go to the Sangalle Oasis, where we will arrive after two hours of walking.
In Sangalle we will be able to enjoy and rest in the waters at 20°C to then enjoy a lunch and in the afternoon we will be able to rest; in the night we have programmed a familiar dinner to then spend the night in the Bungalows and/or small cabins.
Town of Cabanaconde, town of Chivay
Our day starts very early at 05:00 AM we will make a hike uphill to the town of Cabanaconde for about 3 hours, we will have breakfast in Cabanaconde, then go to the town of Chivay, and from there we will go to the thermal medicinal baths of the Calera with 38 º C where we can enjoy its relaxing waters, then return to Chivay.
At the coordinated hour we will enjoy lunch and after a few minutes of rest we will return to the city of Arequipa, on the way we will have the possibility to visit the Mirador de los Andes (4910 m.a.s.l.) and the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, arriving to Arequipa at approximately 05.30 p.m. ending this complete adventure through the Colca Canyon, only with Rainbow Peru Travel.
